Fees for Services as Mediator
It
is my policy as mediator to provide mediation services at
an affordable cost for all parties. If the below set fees
are unaffordable for any reason, please contact me and I will
adjust the fee and/or make other satisfactory arrangements.
From
experience, it is generally found that a full day mediation
should be scheduled for all parties so that the process can
have the necessary time to be effective. Furthermore, we have
found that when each party shares equally in the costs of
mediation, the process works best. Generally, we will begin
at 9:30 a.m., with a working lunch and continue until completed.
While most sessions conclude by 5:00 p.m., a session may extend
into the evening if necessary. Morning mediations scheduled for a half-day
will begin at 9:30 a.m. and an afternoon half-day session
will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Your
mediation fee includes the following services:
- Office
scheduling and administration of the session(s).
- Preparation,
pre-session conferences with attorneys as necessary.

Preparation for and conducting the mediation session(s).
- Post-session
conferences as needed.
- Lunch
and refreshments for all participants for a full day mediation.
SCHEDULE
OF MEDIATION FEES
ALL
FEES ARE DUE AND PAYABLE NO LATER THAN THREE (3) DAYS PRIOR
TO YOUR MEDIATION CONFERENCE
- $1,500.00/per
party for a full day mediation (8 hours)
- $650.00/per
party for a half-day mediation (4 hours)
All
parties represented by a single attorney are deemed one "party"
for purposes of the above fees.
Please note that fee's for out of town mediations will be adjusted in accordance with the location of the mediation, including travel expenses.
ARBITRATION FEES
Fees for arbitration shall be determined based on length and complexity of the subject matter after consultation with attorneys.
RESCHEDULING
OR CANCELLATION FEES:
Because of time consideration and scheduling, we will require at least TEN (10) WORKING DAYS rescheduling or cancellation notice for a refund of the mediation fee. Each party will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total if cancelled within 7 days, and each party will be charged 75% of the total if cancelled within 2 days regardless of who causes the cancellation. I appreciate your trust, as well as the opportunity to be of service to you as a mediator.
